CIPTE Required Exams:

To be awarded the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert, the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert student must successfully pass two exams namely; the 3Com NBX R4.4 Technical Update Training and the NBX R5.0 Update Training exam both exams has difficulty ratings of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

CIPTE Recertification:

A successful 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert student will hold the 3Com Certified IP Telephony Expert certification for two years only, after which any 3Com certification obtained prior to December 1, 2005 is only valid for 1 year. Recertification requires a passing grade on the current 3Com IP Telephony Expert Final Exam.
