CCIA (Citrix Certified Integration Architect)

CCIA Introduction:

The Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) certification from Citrix was originally established in the year 2001 and was last updated in the year 2005.

CCIA Description:

This CCIA program focuses on best practices recommended by Citrix for analysis, design, and build/test of Citrix technologies. The main incentive for candidates to pursue the CCIA designation is that candidates acquire the knowledge, expertise, recognition and credibility required for successful Citrix deployments. Another benefit is that this same knowledge and expertise, when applied to small-to-large implementations, reduces costs, increases implementation success rates and speeds up implementation time.

CCIA Required Exams:

The CCIA Certification consists of 2 tracks each containing their own subdivisions necessary for completing them. These are the tracks that make up the CCIA Certificate, the Citrix Certified Integration Architect for Citrix Access Suite 4.0 (Available Late Q2 2006) and Citrix Certified Integration Architect for Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server.

CCIA Recertification:

The CCIA certification program is versioned by calendar year, and is valid only for the associated calendar year, e.g. 2006. To be eligible to teach Citrix courseware, an instructor must be certified for the current year. For example, to teach in 2006, a CCIA must meet the program requirements for 2006, including membership in the CCIA subscription program, which is renewed at the beginning of each calendar year.

CCIA Study Aids and Practice Exams:

Internet websites like the Testking and the mcsebraindumps offer a number of study aids for the CCIA Certification, including the CCIA Study Guide, and the CCIA Practice Exam. Other CCIA Training includes the CCIA Bootcamp and the Citrix Braindumps.
